I am yet to hear people that genuine love only the PvE aspects or play it for that.

this is done because each biotome has different ressources (remember this was a Survival full loot pvp mp, and it shows in many areas)
The world is put together if crude made up "biotomes" think about Minecraft or Conan Exiles. it tried to cater to everybody after its turn in development, but this means that everything is worse than what other games offer, albeit it tries to offer it all.Ĭrafting is fun, but sadly linear and pointless gear wise or even market wise. if you want to mass Zerk and grief people, then NW is worth the price. If you want PvE and stories, then NW is not for you. picture a dumb down (this is crazy) dark souls game. it was a survival full loot PvP MP at the start and only changed into a themepark mmo in the last year of development! It has 2x3 skills, but you primarily use dodge and light attack. PvP is not a focus, but alright (but like NW it suffers from 1 faction to rule them all, so your PvP character is on that 1 faction) The PvE combat is focused on team work in larger instances and it has all the classics of a themepark mmo. It would be like comparing tomato to melon, just because both are fruit.ĮSO is very PvE focused and has actual story, varieted questing, and a lot of lore. Imho, NW might become a good game after a couple of years and a few patches/expansions. These things you won't find in NW at this stage. There is a lot of content after all these years.
Too many assets used again ang again, like you've seen one village, you've seen them all, same goes for cities, environments with minor differencies etc. thats why NW draw my attention in the first place, but it looks rushed to me. I have been waiting for a midieval world that looks real without extreme fantasy elements, useless races etc. I am a casual PVE gamer, and i don't think at this stage it caters to me. Having said that, i don't "feel" like the game is ready for release yet, and imho not many things will change until 31st of August. There are a lot of things i like and some i do not, but that is a personal preference. Personally, after playing for almost 50 hours, i refunded NW 2day, at least for now.
